Blood Pressure Medications and Diabetes
Nearly three-fourths of those with diabetes are also affected by high blood pressure. The largest study to date on high blood pressure, the ALLHAT study, compared four different types of blood pressure medications in a sub-set of people with pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes.
